ACG’s web-based modules feature a comprehensive educational program dedicated to providing clinical updates in specific topic areas in Gastroenterology. The PG + MOC modules include video recordings of faculty presentations from the PG Course directly related to each question’s content. Module participants will watch these videos prior to beginning the test, which consists of case-based, multiple-choice questions.

Diplomates enrolled in the ABIM MOC program who successfully complete the program with a minimum score of 70% will be awarded Medical Knowledge MOC by ABIM.
To receive MOC and CME credit you must successfully pass the test with a minimum score of 70% (a maximum of 3 attempts permitted).

After answering all of the questions in an MOC module, you will be notified if you passed with 70% of the questions correct. Those who pass will be given the option to complete the evaluation and claim both AMA Category 1 Credits™ and ABIM MOC points. Detailed explanations of the correct answer and why the other choices are not correct, as well as supporting references linked to PubMed for further study are provided following the completion of the test. The video recordings of the relevant PG Course presentation are available to watch again. Your scoring profile is provided, including overall and category scores as well as comparison data to your peers.

If you did not complete 70% of the questions correctly, you will be given the option to retake ONLY the questions you answered incorrectly on the previous attempt(s). You will have a maximum of three attempts to pass with a score of 70%.
